Friday, October 23, 2026, the District 8 Youth Justice Planning Team will host a youth-led Youth Justice Action Month event at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.

The event brings young people together with schools, courts, foster care partners, law enforcement, businesses, service providers, families, and community organizations. Our goal is to strengthen youth voice while building better relationships and coordination across the systems that support them.

Youth are leading the planning and will guide a day focused on creative expression, belonging, wellness, and connection. Activities will include youth artwork, hands-on creative stations, youth-led conversations, community resources, and opportunities for young people and adults to build trust across traditional system boundaries.
